Webfactory Bulgaria was founded in 1998 by Koos Jan Schouten from Amsterdam - Holland and, is staffed by some of the finest web designers and web developers available in Bulgaria. Bulgaria was not only chosen because of the lower labour costs, but mainly due to the ample availability of cutting edge IT talent making it an ideal destination for nearshoring web projects.
Our team has experience in hundreds of website- and internet related projects and has grown to a total of 20 people. In addition to our technical excellence, we place strong emphasis on individual solutions. We provide interactive web solutions, design and development of websites, multimedia and database engines. Also, Web Marketing and Promotion and SEO Search Engine Optimisation, Content Management, Data Processing and Multi-Lingual Content Management Services.
Webfactory serves clients in Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, St.Lucia, St. Maarten, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA.
Most of our staff were educated at the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and the Technical University in Sofia.
The employment of young multi-lingual students and giving them an opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment such as ours, turned out to be the successful strategy for our company. As a result our employees are amongst the most flexible and capable specialists available in the Bulgarian IT industry. We make websites for many industries, but we specialized in Travel and Hospitality, E-commerce, Real Estate, Telecom and Public Information websites.
Working with Webfactory was a cinch. At first my clients at BAF Global were skeptical since Webfactory was in Bulgaria, they were in the Bahamas and I (project manager) was in Jamaica. They thought it would have been a challenge but the opposite proved true.
Using an excellent project management system, BaseCamp, and other web based tools, our Webfactory project manager and other members of staff were always only a click away. They made themselves available for meetings and were never too busy to answer a question or explain technical terms. The turnaround time for building our website was very impressive and the response time on queries and issues was remarkable. As a consultant I have worked with several web builders but none have been as professional, friendly and easy to work with as Webfactory.
We have worked with Webfactory for over two years on the website igolenses.co.uk and have evolved our website considerably over this time. This has included incorporating functionality into the backend of a third party marketing platform, a complicated process.
